Vacationing in France!

I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to visit France last year, and it was the trip of a lifetime.  I spent most of my time in Paris and the surrounding area, but also visited Toulouse, which was a beautiful town.  I had an exchange student live with me for a while several years past, and I was able to meet him in France (that’s why I visited Toulouse).  The culture was fascinating, the food was superb, and the weather cooperated with my travel plans for the duration of the trip!  I was even able to visit the Louvre and see the works of all the famous artists of the Renaissance period!

I had my Fuji fine pix camera with me the whole trip, and I later compiled the pictures I took into an album.  I missed my family while I was in France, but they were glad I had taken lots of pictures of my trip.  In fact, the pictures I took with my Fuji fine pix became so popular that my parents showed the album to friends of theirs I didn’t even know!

fujicameras-hemstores.jpgWhen it comes to electronics, most Americans think of Japanese companies like Sony, Hitachi, and Toshiba.  It’s true that some of the highest quality electronics come from Japan, and digital cameras are no exception.  Camera manufacturers like Fuji, Canon, and even Sony produce some of the best digital cameras on the market today.  Despite differences in style compared to American camera manufacturers, most of the innovations amongst digital cameras have been pioneered by Japanese companies, and as such, their technology always seems to have a slight edge.

Fuji cameras are renowned for their simplistic design and competitive pricing, while Canon cameras are known for their modern features and high quality.  Purchasing from either of these manufacturers is sure to provide you with a camera that will last and take great pictures!

1-b.jpgI gave my brother the Fuji-film FinePix F50fd - digital camera as a gift during Thanksgiving week.  He took the Fuji-film FinePix F50fd digital camera to Opryland Hotel to see the Christmas Decoration in Nashville Tennessee.  While at Opryland Hotel he took several pictures of the decoration and sights of the area.

The Fuji-film FinePix F50fd Digital Camera was easy to use.  When this camera took pictures you would see the picture with red - eye and also a picture that removed the red - eye.  By doing this you can see and compare both pictures.  This camera also locks on to face’s and keep the picture from being blurry.

Fuji Finepix camerasWhen I traveled abroad to Europe, I thought about buying a digital camera beforehand, but as I was already spending a substantial amount of money on the trip, I decided to wait until another time.  However when I got to Europe, I discovered so many things I wanted to have photos of to show my family and friends.  I ended up in an electronics store in France looking at Fuji cameras.  The clerk didn’t speak much English, but I could tell he was recommending I buy a Fuji.

So I took the dive and bought the camera, and have loved using it ever since.  Luckily the instructions were available in French and English, otherwise I would have been in trouble!

Fujifilm S100FSFor years, consumers wanted more control and range than a compact with lower weight and cost than a DSLR.  DSLRs do away with the bulky, expensive mirror assembly that defines an SLR.  They have traditionally had smaller sensors which allow long zoom lenses to be created in a relatively smaller space.

In recent years, manufacturers have started to compete at the bottom end of the DSLR market with slimmed-down camera.  Why buy a DSLR-like camera if you can get the real thing for around the same money? Until recently, it appeared to be a question with no answer most bridge cameras began to disappear from the challenge and began to look and feel more like compacts with an absurd zoom on the front. Fujifilm’s fully-featured S9100,  back in August 2006 disappeared from the market without any sign of a replacement.

Until the announcement of the , that is. And it’s an interesting package, one of the largest sensors we’ve seen in a non-DSLR for many years.  This lens has a 14.3x zoom range, starts at a usefully wide-angle 28mm equivalent, and the eighth generation of Fujifilm’s Super CCD sensor technology. There’s some photography-related features that have been added too.
